The birth of a story starts with an idea. But that idea can change in a nanosecond. A few days ago I wrote a short story, Gone But Not Forgotten about walking in cemeteries. But it started with an idea of "Two Coins," from St. Irenaeus. I googled on the references on two coins in scripture and came across incidents of people putting coins on veterans' graves. That will be another story, I'm sure. But the noun, "graves" brought to mind the cemeteries I've been walking through. And that's what the story came out to be. Search This Blog
