Words Hurt

My friend Bill, had his feelings hurt, yesterday.  He expresses himself better in rhyme that he does in reality.  This is what I mean:

Words Hurt by Bill Wyllie ..

Sometimes words hurt, sometimes words sting. But oh my god the hate they bring. A sarcastic word it gets me going. I try yo calm myself so it's not showing. Tho sometimes it hurts, I let it pass. But sometimes I want them to kiss my ass. But I digress I'll show the love. In God we trust from heaven above. The memory lives on but I think good thoughts. Or sometimes I'd rather not.

A Hard Day's Night

Guest post:  Bill is writing about his girl friend a la Beetles' songs.

I feel so happy, we got together.
I will hold you tight and make you feel better.

You are on my mind all day long.
You are like hearing my favorite song.

Must be a Beetles' song, that is fact.
"Can't Buy Me Love" or "You Can't Do That."

Or how about "The long and Winding Road" or "Maybe I'm Amazed."
I know for a fact, in my life you will stay.

Beautiful lady you are so divine..
We will be together till the end of time.

You keep me on pins and needles.
You are number one, I love you more than the Beetles.

We will sing and dance, you are such a treat
You are so beautiful, you can not be beat.

I think of you every minute.
You are my world and I want you in it.

I will write you a poem, I will sing you a song.
But oh my darling with you I belong.

If I am yours then "Let it Be."
The pleasure is mine for you to see.

You bring the light in the darkest night.
So I will say goodbye, it's been "A Hard Day's Night."

A Walk With Faith

 Facebook Photo

Billy took up my challenge!!!!  Here's his offering.

A Walk with Faith (In My Heart)
by William Wyllie

To Beaver Pond we will stroll.
I have not been there sing long ago.
     Chilson Beach, a beautiful place.
In my mind I travel through time and space,
To a time long ago, when I was a lad.
To this same place with brother and sister.
      What a time we had.

Today I walk with Faith.
     And photos I take.
Lots of trees by the pond, grow wild,
In the past very few, when I was a child.

We walk to a clearing, a boar ramp looks fine.
I walk to the edge, should I step one more time?
As I get closer to the water, one more step I may go.
A thick black snake, pops out of a hole.
With a startled surprise, right back I did jump.
I did it so fast, I heard a loud thump.
In a blink of an eye the snake popped back in its hole.
And that is when real fast I did stroll.
Faith said with concern, "I would have jumped just the same."
With a twinkle in her eye, good friends we remain.

Halloween Night

Halloween Night
by
William Wyllie

Halloween night is here.
Ghosts and goblins will be near.
Some look creepy, some look cute.
Kids dressed up in Halloween suits.
You give them treats,
You give them candy.
To a cute little girl named Mandy.
They paint their pretty little heads
Like the Walk of the Living Dead.
They gross themselves out.
Till they make you scream and shout.
They dress like angels,
They dress like devils.
But believe me folks, they're on the level.
The living dead will rise when
the fall of night arrives.
They'll walk amongst the living.
They take without giving.
So friends don't drop out of sight
on this Halloween night.

Not Ship-Shape

The Woman in Cabin 10 b y Ruth Ware is called a psychological thriller.  To me it means that the protagonist, Lauren, will drive you crazy...
