Do Not Lose Heart

Looking around the violence in today's world, is enough for anyone to lose their mind.

Never mind, countries who are at war.  We have people shooting children, in our own country.  But try to remember that we're not made for this world, with all its trouble.  Someday, it will all be behind us, when we are in heaven with God.

Keep the faith.  This is not really our home.  We are made for more.

Lord Hear Our Prayer

 As violence in Washington DC erupts on the day the election will be certified, we must resort to prayer.

Please pray for the USA

Lord Jesus Christ, who are called the Prince of Peace,
who are yourself our peace and reconciliation,
who so often said, "Peace to you," grant us peace.

Make all men and women witnesses of truth, justice,
and brotherly love.
Banish from their hearts whatever might endanger peace.

Enlighten our rulers that they may
guarantee and defend the great gift of peace.
May all peoples on the earth
become as brothers and sisters.
May longed for peace blossom forth
and reign always over us all.
