For Billy's Cat IKEA

It's funny how I let you into
my heart, knowing I'd lose you.
But still, I named you IKEA
and fell helplessly in love with a
black and white cat who purred
and rubbed my legs.  No word
can describe the emptiness I feel

but I know some day my heaven
will be all my pets in procession.

Goodbye, farewell, I won't forget.
You were my favorite, loving pet.
