How to Win at Bible Trivia

Sometimes we were neck and neck.  But since my team was the first to go, we were feeding our rivals with chances.  You see, if a team gave the wrong answer, the question went to the next team.  It was almost time for the game to end and we were about 5 points behind the leaders.

Oh, I forgot to mention the third team.  They were so far behind that they didn't have a chance to win.  That's why I forgot about them; they weren't even in contention.

But they're pivotal.

We soon realized that they were getting the easiest questions wrong.  "What did Joseph have that his brothers were jealous of?"  Instead of answering "A coat of many colors," they yelled out, "Sandals."

What?

Then we got it.  And said, "thank you."

They were deliberately throwing their questions our way.  When an answer is wrong, the next team gets to answer it, in addition to their own question.

Hence, we won.

And that's how you win in Bible Trivia.  When you can't win, you join up with second place to beat the one in first.

Look up Matthew 10:16.
