brought to mind the members of my own family who are affected by the COVID -19 lockdown. One member has been laid off.  Another has had to take a 10% pay cut.  One more just hasn't been working because the building has been locked down.

Ironically, the only one working is the carpenter!  He only misses work in bad weather.  But the article mentioned that St. Joseph had to get out of town when Herod ordered all babies to be killed.  Definitely.  A new country to adjust to, and find housing, and employment--what a predicament.  Like us; you do what you had to do.

And that's what we do.  Look forward with one step at a time.  Let us pray that everyone finds meaningful employment.
