Tips for Consecration to Mary for the 21st Century

      A Lenten Journey


Every thing is brief.  So brief, that you can grasp the intent of the assignment while waiting for light to change at a traffic light--not that, this is the preferred venue.  But you get the idea.

Make the commitment to fulfill each day's assignments, and at the end of Lent, you'll have a different relationship with Mary and will be closer to Jesus.

Lent is 40 days.  You will not count Sundays.  Jesus was resurrected on Sunday, so we will celebrate Sunday, not do penance.

Tomorrow is Ash Wednesday.  Ash Wednesday and Good Friday are days of fasting and abstinence.  All Fridays are days of abstinence.     
 Fasting  =  one large meal and 2 small ones no grazing
 Abstinence  = no meat

Final note: Don't expect every day to be a profitable day of meditation.
